Sometimes Ime is so stubborn. Reed is not ready. Give somebody else some burns. You can't put Reed there every game and let the opposing team making a run and then trying to make up for it. Let Holiday or JD get loose or try something different. You can play Reed when you are playing some bad teams but he's not up to the tasks for good teams like Bucks or Spurs.
Im not saying he'll be like this all year but man he looks pseudo washed. Like he can obviously still shoot but everything else has looked bad. It also doesn't help that they are seemingly not interested in him being a play finisher. They keep trying to let him cook in iso
Exactly. He can still handle the ball some, but Amen and KD should absolutely not be primary ball handlers. Amen needs to keep his ass in the dunkers spot and KD needs to be largely a shooter.
KD too at this point. Pass KD the ball to shoot, if you're running something off of him, good luck. He can still get a bucket but we are using him to initiate offense way too much.
If Ime cannot do better than this, he needs to hire an assistance who can. If KD is so soft, then Ime better pound him into the ground. If we we are intended on just standing around or not hitting cutters, change the offense. Since we have a lot of youth and athleticism, maybe just maybe, can we run more? If Capela is not in shape, bench him! We have a great shooter sitting on the bench in Jeff Green, so play him because Adams against mobile bigs is a disaster. If we cannot do well playing zone, I don’t know, maybe change it up.
He hasn’t looked good, but…teams are focusing hard on him and beating him up. Takes a lot to deal with that and try to carry offensively. No reason why we shouldn’t be able to capitalize on all the attention he’s getting (when he’s not turning it over).
The ball stops with Sengun. We are turning into a "your turn, my turn team". Udoka can't coach offensive basketball. We have bigs who think they have great handles.
Stone should have traded for Jrue when we had the chance. Good luck now. This team is a first round exit lock without a real PG. Amen at PG is like an NFL team putting a DT at QB because he played QB in HS.
