    Waiving Tate or Green doesn't solve the $ problem - it makes it worse.

    While they are minimum contracts - they are guaranteed. Waiving them, they'd still count against the cap but create an open roster spot and the team would have no more cap space than before.

    Maybe these little maneuvers would suggest that JD Davison has done enough to not be on a bus back and forth to RGV with his 2-way deal. He should be converted to a full contract at the first opportunity.
