He looked infinitely better than the line has allowed him to be these first 3 weeks. Hell, his numbers last year still ends up being better than a lot of Schaub years, where he had an all-world O-line.

He gets a lot of flack because he somehow didn’t get “better” after his MVP-caliber rookie season. These guys are not finished products when they come into the league at 20, 21 years of age. Inexperience coaching, a revolving door at O-line, and bad schemes will ruin anybody out there.

The Texans have never been equipped to handle the pressures of being a preseason favorite. We have been a paper tiger the past 2 years, only to show up as actual kittens. We are and always have been better off as unknowns or underdogs. Its truly disheartening.
