Yes, he should be aware that the emergency kicker can't pick up that blitz and he needs to get the ball out instead of eating another sack due to his slow processing speed.

 

What if no one is open? Should he still throw it? It did look like the RB was in position to get the block and give CJ a couple of seconds, but that didn’t pan out.
