Why do I lose those damn favorite icons every few days!?

Wierd, sometimes the browser may sort of crash or not repsond, I close my window then re-open it.
It goes back to the boring default icons lookin' like little folders and won't restore the pretty little website icons unless I click on them again.
    POR QUE?!?!?!!?

Happens to me on both Firefox and IE.

Wonder if it's something that's automatically cleaning up my history files and cookies or something.

Yeah that has been a constant problem with IE and Firefox...haven't seen anything that fixes it.

I don't think I have ever had this problem. What exactly happens?

If you download and install a little program called FavOrg you will not lose your icons. This program works with IE, but I don't know if it will work with firefox. I have used this program for several years and it works just fine.

You could also save the icons yourself. When you save a link that has an icon, go into the Temporary Internet Files folder in your profile, look for any "favicon.ico" files and save them to a folder(ie. My Pictures\Icons), then right click on the link in Favorites, click Change Icon and go to where you saved the icon you want to use.

I haven't tried FavOrg yet, but it sounds interesting. Might try it out when I get home from work.
