That is an error, that ball was in the glove, Cam slowed down jumped and it was in and out.

I predicted he’d struggle through 5, but keep it from spiraling. I assume he’s not heading back out, so was only off by an inning.

I don’t think he’s going to be able to contribute much as a starter still - he started losing velocity in the 3rd and it dropped off more on the 4th. But if he can generate swings and misses still, he could definitely be a plus in the bullpen for an inning or two.

Nice job gutting it out though. Lance is a competitor.

Yeah dude just walked the first two hitters in that inning with a 4 run lead...that's not "competing"

 

He is either physically or mentally cooked or both. And he needs to realize he is not Rafael Devers and cannot demand a spot at his favorite position.
