The Simeon at bat completely changed when they called one of the worst check swings as not a swing I've ever seen. Then Hader gave up another cheap Crawford box special.

 

Missed the game, but Im sure this place was calm and measured when things went sideways.

This seems to be a regular occurrence every year.

 

That was an underrated turning point. What a gross call. Looked like we got a bit of a “make up” call later (although on not nearly as clear of a check swing), but I’m not giving Mr. Magoo the credit there, I just think he needs a visit to the eye doctor and was bad all around.

 

Yelling at you because your blind ass didn’t have to defer to the 1st base ump to call that a swing. But sure he was definitely more to blame.

 

Not sure about game 2 but game 1, Skubal just didn't look himself. He couldn't find the zone and was frustrated from the start. Mariners didn't have to do much to get to him once they realized that. Tigers had a fake comeback but then their bullpen crap the bed. Reminded me of Hunter Brown game against the Guardians. Think they're running of fumes trying to get to the All-Star break.

 

We sure weren't doing ourselves any favor losing 4 in a row before last game.

 

That 5-9 is something else.
