You have no understanding of the term "Seperation of Church and State" if you think someone cannot have a faith basis and still run this Country properly.
It may still happen, but it looks to me like Kerry's people have decided to to go about this the right way unlike Gore in 2000.
The people have spoken. Bush '04 Four More Years The popular vote was also quite a victory, though the electoral was very close. I think now whenever a president is elected regardless of party, we should come together as Americans to support that president. I know its easier to say because my candidate won, but we must move beyond minor differences and be happy that we are politically active and actually CARE what happens. Even though I was against Bill White, I am actually pleased with the job he has done and with his initiatives. What is sad is that we have the highest turnout in 30 years, yet the turnout is still quite low. I have respect for anyone that supports and speaks and strives for their candidate or their ideals because in their hearts they are trying to make a difference in a world of indifference. As long as the system works, we've all won.
I'm convinced that Diebold delivered on his promise to give Ohio to Bush. I will never see W as a legitimate president. America has set itself back so far that it may never recover. But that's obviously what the people wanted.
Paraphrased post from the SwiftBoat Vets for Truth Forum: =========================================== November 3, 2004 Dear Senator Kerry, You are Unfit for Command. Sincerely, America =========================================== We must congratulate the Swifties for thier contribution to this effort. Their hard work and determination ensured that John Kerry would never command our Armed Forces. Thank you Swifties. You will go down in history as heroes.
I know I'm in the minority here but ICAM. Bush has made a mess of this country in 4 years and 4 more years of him is not looking too great. JMHO.
MAJOR props to Kerry for doing the right and honorable thing by not needlessly dragging this on longer. Take note, slappy.
