I feel safe on planes and travel often. But what's to keep suicide bombers doing their thing in a busy area, school or whatever? I really thought we would have seen more happen since 9/11 but am thankful we haven't.
Agreed! I was in Scranton. c-span's site is very cool to follow. http://network.ap.org/dynamic/files...use/index.html?SITE=CSPANELN&SECTION=POLITICS
This one is still getting the numbers quicker from what I can tell: http://abcnews.go.com/sections/politics/Elections2004/president.html
Just heard that Florida has a backlog of 90,000 absentee votes, and the Secretary of State has said that these won't get counted until Thursday. Meanwhile, Iowa has 450,000 absentee votes to be counted, but they feel they can get it done tonight. I don't know what's realistic when it comes to tabulating votes, but I do know someone is full of ****.
California has 55 EC votes, should tigthen this race up significantly, though it is looking like a Bush runaway right now. Bush has Florida 85% precincts reporting and Bush with a comfortable 200,000 vote lead, and that includes Dade county where 84% of the votes have been counted. DD
post of the century. the only thing that matters now is OH and FL and the litigation/votecounting/posturing. Thanks electoral college!
