    Lol Elias would accept Javier for O'Hearn before Brown could finish getting the offer out of his mouth

    Javier may or may not come back the same, we won't know until it happens

    But he is a guy who has dominated at the highest level and O'Hearn is a platoon bat who is extremely unlikely to keep hitting at the level that he is at so far this year. In fact he has been downright awful so far in June

    O'Hearn would be a nice fit for us, but not for Javier

    He is out of options so can’t be sent to the minors except on a rehab assignment. He has to be either placed on the big league roster or DFA by June 30.

    He's on pace for a perfectly average season for him, which means 5+ bWar and an All Star appearance. Looking at a career high in SB and more walks than strikeouts again. He's not having the monster first half he had in 24, but he's going to get his giant contract. There's not a lot of competition out there for the big 2026 free agency dollars.

    But yeah, we won that trade.
