I am very happy for Jake.

Perspective : these guys are all MLB hitters and can have a great AB or great game at any point.

He will probably have more multi-hit, multi-RBI games this year and I will enjoy them.

But he will also continue to have 0 for 4 games throughout the season.

Espada picked right today. He needs to continue choosing between him and Chas hoping he gets more right than wrong.

So Chas needs to start in CF sometime soon. But not tomorrow. Jake plays until he has an o-fer game. But he's not suddenly Willie Mays.

 

Jake's OPS goes from .599 to .780 today.

Love to see it and as long as it stays above .700 I'm happy, but I'm.not convinced that it WILL be .700+ in 3 weeks.
