Looks like I picked the right day to have an afternoon full of meetings and not be able to watch the game.

No debate and yea they both suck, but saying that Rodgers is decaying on the bench for no given reason is a bit of a reach. Dude is hurt or just not very good.....

 

Did not realize they had a day game and now that I see the score, glad I cant watch. Pena with a dinger is nice to see in the box score.................but we have 2 measly hits

 

I must apologize. Because of the early start, I decided to watch today's game. I should have known better than to jinx it by watching it before it ended.

 

Pena's error certainly did not help the kid, changed everything.

I'm going to watch the Green Hornet, so we have a shot at a comeback.

 

I can't believe we had people in our fanbase talking about this team as having 100 win potential in this very thread.

They have some pitcher they picked up at a dairy farm on a one day's notice starting and gave Yordan a rest day.

 

I agree that 100 is a bit optimistic.

But watching this game in real time. Right now. I am expecting 90+ and a division championship.

It's one game dude. If we sweep the White Sox we are on pace to win 94. It's also not even over (though it's probably over).
Their guy pitched 4 innings and gave up 3 ER's (so far). Our guy pitched 4 innings and gave up 2 ER's. The difference in the game was a dumb defensive play by Pena and a crawford box home run with a 91% chance of being the 3rd out of the inning that instead ended up scoring 4. It's baseball. ****. happens.

 

Can’t believe you’re making any type of conclusions based on a game where a minor leaguer is making an emergency start.
