    Mark Williams' agent, Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management, released the following statement: "The overwhelming sentiment, after conferring with multiple, nationally recognized doctors, is that the Los Angeles Lakers should not have failed Mark Williams on his physical. Mark was ready and able to play for them and should have been given that opportunity."

    I hear other unreliable reports that Williams is demanding to be released from CHA and will sign w LA? Maybe I should stop reading garbage rumor sites, but I would be really mad if that happened, but it's believable because it's the Lakers.

    CHA got a (projected) lotto pick rookie and 2 firsts for Williams. They aren't going to release him!

    They won't get the equivalent of three firsts for him again, but will get better than a bag if cheetos.

    I also doubt Williams would want to sign for the Lakers now?
