It's my understanding that the trade becomes official today and then I guess we'll know without having to go research it ourselves.

YES. Perhaps a lower ceiling, but the performance floor is really good. Smarts, work ethic... won't get caught dealing drugs or with 6 kids by age 23. Will be a nasty competitor, provide good preparation for games, intense weight room guy, and mature locker room presence for years.

    25. Matthew Golden WRTexas
    30. Donovan Jackson OGOhio State
    79. Alfred Collins DTTexas
    91. Hollin Pierce OTRutgers (This pick and the next, I really didn't know who to grab)
    129. Jordan Phillips DTMaryland
    166. (?) I raged quit because my late round pick, Jack Nelson, went 5 picks earlier

Edit: I was planning on trading back with 25, but Golden was still on the board, so I took hm. Then Zebel was picked at 29, which usually means Jackson is gone within the next couple of picks. I hoped they would last until the second round, where I could trade back up. So my plan there was rushed and I traded back up to pick Jackson. It did cost me a future 1RD and pick 58.

Is Bayshul Tuten projected as a 5th rounder? That would be a steal. I watched him play and didn't see that much difference from Jeanty. Tuten ran the top 4.32 and had the highest vertical at the combine.

To be frank, I chose him as a camp QB who is likely to be cut, but stay in the area in an emergency. I'd prefer Keenum if he doesn't hook up with another team. If I had my way, he's begin a coaching career here as some type of assistant. But it's hard to come to grips with ending your playing days.

He played WR at Miami then switched to RB at SMU. Solid speed at 4.39, but at 5'10" 190 range he's likely a 3rd down back/KR type with some change of pace potential. Caley could probably use him in the slot some as well.

Indeed. Would be a helluva weapon and can help in the return game.

He was a great combo w/ Kevin Jennings for the Ponies until the Penn State game.
