    It’s not the sexy choice, but I think the front office is going to double down on Melton and the farm. I don’t see us signing somebody like Santander or Hernandez. Maybe we take some flyers on minimum salary OF vets just a hold down the fort, but I think the front office is going to want to see what we have in our farm, first, between Dezenzo/Leon/Melton etc.

    Yep, trade for Robert and call it a great off-season. Even if they trade for Robert, they should look for an under valued OF late in FA.

    You gotta go for it when you have the pitching. I'm imagining a world where they trade Pressly and Caratini then add Robert through a trade and Winker and in FA.

    It's hard not to love a GG 1B that will hit 34-35 dingers/yr at 20m yr.
    He and Paredes should be great bookends.
    Tough to see Breggy go, but I see them working.

    That said, I disagree with the whole strategy of pseudo contention.
