[STOLEN] "Lights Out Lidge"

    Nick - I just got home from the Astros game and I witnessed something that was very disturbing. As Lidge is running out to the mound to pitch the 9th, the music starts blaring and the crowd gets pumped. I look up at the scoreboard and what I saw was shocking. In huge flashing letters I see "Lights Out Lidge". Either you sold the copyright to the Astros, or we have a spy from the team on this bbs. I smell a lawsuit!!

    Actually last week I heard ESPN say this phrase on telecast.

    I've been hearing Lights out Lidge for a long time. Well at least since the begining of the season but I'm pretty sure I heard Milo say it last year too.

    I don't mind them using it on the scoreboard, or on the broadcasts... I'm just holding out for that sweeeeet t-shirt money. I know everybody here wants one... right?

    It will beat Gagne's "game over" shirt, and Ricky Vaugn's "wild thing" shirt hands down...

    The front will have a light switch in the off position... and "Lights out Lidge" on the back. I'll be accepting orders soon... cash/check/credit/money order... sorry, no COD. :D

    You should make an alternate version of this shirt for the ladies only that has in subtitles below the main lettering: "Turn me on..."

    Yes. Yes, that would do nicely.
