    I went to the game and am exhausted. Off the bat, I raised my arms and I was sure Hayward’s shot was a game winner. Just kill me. And I’m going back tomorrow.

    So today was worse than yesterday. Offense sucked all day while Hunter Brown shoved, then we get a lead, only to have the season end just like it started…back end of the bullpen implosion.

    This hurts less than all the prior seasons because this team wasn’t a juggernaut and got things together based on a bunch of unforeseen developments: blanco coming outta nowhere, arighetti sort of figuring things out, Brown going from trash to ace, and the Kikuchi “overpay” working out brilliantly.

    I now know why I went to this WC series. This season reminded me how insane the 7 year run has been and I realized I’ve been taking if for granted.

    I hope Dana Brown is really good at his job and folks like Brice Mathews and other position players can become stars before Altuve and Yordan fade. We need a rejuvenation of elite position player talent

    Puts this year in perspective but it still sucks, and I am still pissed we lost....................now we have to wait 6 months for more Baseball
