Umpire giving Scott a huge gift right there. Always feel a little gross when you benefit from "human error"

The hits weren’t that hard hit, but once Scott got ahead in the count for the most part he didn’t even throw competitive pitches.

 

They're consistently inconsistent for every team in every game.

 

I could see the lefty King getting a shot. He’s actually had some decent moments with decent pressure. Need lefties against some of these potential playoff matchups. (Or they put YOUSAY there if its a short series).

 

We’ve been getting killed by “human error” the entire season so I personally don’t feel gross at all.

the umps helped us out in this series twice, after butchering the Orioles and Phillies games. I'll take that.

Scott is Montero 2022. Remember Montero was way under 1.50 era for a vast majority of the year before shuffling at the end. You could tell he was barely holding on, even during the playoffs.

 

I definitely expected Stanek to be “nearly benched” that postseason . His ERA was fools gold and other guys in the pen had better stuff and were pitching better.

 

King is definitely worth carrying against teams like the Orioles and Red Sox (if they make it somehow). I’d rather have him than Ferguson.
