    Definitely a PR hire and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Manfred mandated Dusty's hiring. I cant prove this but never doubt Manfred's ability to try to do everything he can to try to gift the Yankees a ring.

    Insane to think that Dusty denied himself a second ring, back to back no less, turning around one of the biggest scandal's in the sport's history, out of pure hubris. Like.... why??? I get currying favor to your vets but to let pride completely overtake reason at the biggest stage is baffling and dare I say flat out stupid.
