Is the Giants preseason game this Saturday when the starters will play the most minutes? Or against the Rams?

 

I believe so.... we got 4 preseason games because HOF game

Traditionally, it was the 3rd (now 2nd-ish) game where the starters got a quarter or a half of playing time

The last game is usually to figure out PS & last cuts

 

Simmons still thinks he's worth more than the market indicates he is. He needs a desperate team to receive anywhere close to what he wants. All it takes is ONE.

 

Everything is changing. The second to last used to be the Starters for a half game, but they eliminated a cut date and a pre-season game AND there is now a week between the last pre-season game (8/24) and the opening week of regular season (9/8). So there's the same play (rust/rest) at work usually discussed about whether you want an extra week off entering post season.

So there really isn't a normal anymore.

 

We play vikings week 3. They will be missing addison and mccarthy

 

Don't pay much attention to Minny, but wasn't Darnold penciled in as the starter anyway?

Of course, him losing the job by week 3 wouldn't have been a stretch.
