    I just saw a replay where they said it was a WR time for 4th place, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.

    I’ll admit that I don’t always root for the Americans. I do about 99% of the time, but not always. For example, today for some reason I found myself rooting for the Italian woman’s beach volleyball team over the Americans. But, the Americans won.

    a photographer stepped on his blade (you can see the crooked handle) he was world #1, had to use his backup and lost in the biggest upset ever in olympic table tennis

    Isnt his backup paddle an exact replica of his normal paddle? In tennis you use at least 2 new racquets a match

    I now know that ping pong paddles are called "blades"

    I assumed he was a fencer or such
