    Absolutely, if anything just to eat innings and help expand the rotation to 6 man as soon as possible. Blanco is starting to wear out.

    The solution for that is to recognize when he is going to start leaving runners on base and take him out before it happens. Putting in a long reliever before the trouble starts solves the problem and relieves daily wear and tear on leverage relievers.

    I would not do that for Mathews alone. I would consider Melton and Hicks but would be hesitant to do even that much.
