I am saddened by everything that has unfolded today. No thoughts and prayers, however.

This sounds like a massive failure. At the minimum a thorough and transparent investigation needs to be done.

Trust me I appreciate it. And when I disagree with someone like you I at least know it's in good faith and not an attempt to trigger or offend. That's why I don't feel disgusted after engaging in debate on something we might even vehemently disagree

 

Also I'm pretty impressed with the secret service detail agents that didn't hesitate to shield their own bodies within split seconds - These people have families too, And I know they are paid to do it, but the number one thing for anybody is their family NOT a VIP - , but they did their job extremely well today ..

As far as the question of why this guy got to be able to get onto the roof like he did , that's a question for later but someone at the top needs to be questioned that's for sure in the Secret Service

 

When someone uses this angle of blaming political rhetoric for violence just tell them how this must mean they are going to stop spamming anti- trans content or anti-migrant content.

That is their duty and they wouldn't be in that position if they weren't prepared to do that duty.
