One thing is for sure from reading this thread. Everyone and their mama had a nickname.

Derrick Chievous. Never seen anyone with so much confidence get his shot rejected so much. One of the funniest interviews I ever heard was when Anita Martini on KPRC interviewed him and he said he was going to "pump up the volume" on his game. Chievous pronounced "volume" like "valium"... I had to do a double-take, too. Martini was like "excuse me?" lolol.

 

BTW, did anybody mention The Chicken Man or The Whopper for the Rockets? For a while there, all we had to cheer for was fast food.

Cedric was "Cornbread" and "The Rubberband Man".
Buck was "The Blade", I believe.
"Bandaid" for the Rockets was definitely Derrick Chievous because he wore a band aid on different parts of his body even when not injured. Can't remember why. lol.
