3 is better than at night, but I'm a very early riser, so waiting until noon is hard enough for me. I love my Texans football!

this is where the west coast shines because those noon central starts are 10am for me. I sleep through all the useless pregame shows and basically wake up when it's kickoff time

That's the one thing I liked about living in California when I was in the Navy. Games started early on Sundays and Sunday Night, Monday Night, and Thursday Night Football didn't end so late that getting up at 5 AM was painful. That, and the Rockets away games on the West Coast weren't so late.

It's killer on weekdays though. Games start before you get off work and by the time you get home with traffic, the game is almost over.

Not bashing Swift, but the fact that this factored in to schedule making is awful

Back then I used a VCR...haha. It was many moons ago. I worked shifts though, and either went in at 6:30 or 2:30 most of the time, so I had to tape half the games anyway. I got home early enough on day watches to catch the night games though.

The Texan's schedule is brutal. If they are able to make the playoffs with this schedule, they might go all the way. To be the best, you have to beat the best. And they are going to get plenty of chances to do just that.

Prime time is the best time

I disagree with anyone who thinks noon or 3pm is perfect, no its not

Noon is OK, still lowkey waking up, half asleep

3 pm is ok, but I'll prefer a nap during this game

7 pm is perfect, wide awake, full of energy, ready to go

7pm is 8pm here in NY.
For those who get up at 5am it's not ideal.
But it is what it is.
I try to nap but fantasy football keeps me up.
Red zone is not conducive to napping unless I'm pretty stoned.

It’s still a work day for most the following day, and from a team standpoint is a pretty disruptive travel schedule (presuming you’re the road team).

There’s also a reason why the 3:30pm marquee game has the most ratings and has now reached if not exceeded (in terms of rights deals/advertising dollars) the previous SNF package.

And theres a reason they put only a set/exclusive amount of teams in that window every year.

Stupidest crap i have ever heard or seen. Screw Swift and the Chiefs, why does the whole NFL have to suffer with their annoyance.

    I agree it’s annoying, but…
Money talks, she brings a viewership no one imagined for the NFL.. she also uses stadiums for concerts so you actually do have to check to make sure there is no overlap.
And while I hate the chiefs as well, if she were dating JJ Watt or even a bengals player instead of a chiefs player we would be singing a different tune.
