    1 win was the difference between us winning the division last year and not making the playoffs. We are already short about 6 of where we should be due to bad luck, bad injuries and hideous play at 1b (they alone are worth like -2 War). I tend to agree with you but this season is seriously running out of runway.

    How in the f**k does that happen? They knew changes were coming.

    They easily could have told Hensley/Cabbage/Amaya to come to Houston just in case, better the AAA team play a man short than the MLB club.

    Considering a 25-man roster was standard until the lockout... no big deal to go one short for one game. I suspect that they had bigger plans in mind and this was the plan B.

    Meh. It’s early. Jake also doesn't know how many outs there are and falls flat on his face running to 2nd base.

    and honestly Chas starting should have been cemented last year when he grossly outperformed Meyers for the entire season.

    Less pressure down there may allow him to get his swing back. At least he’s not failing in the mainstream public eye anymore. That may help him mentally.

    Time for Hunter to turn it around tonight. Currently 0-4 with a 9.68 ERA. He has to go at least 5 to give this team a chance.
