If they start mashing and everything falls into place these next 2 games like a tres leches walk--- I'm more than ok with them staying there to claim wild-west underworld south-Texas as home base.
Desi, this could really happen and soon. Might start winning 8 outta 10 or better for a while. When we do, soon, Desihooper, its gonna be fun and we will catch up fast. Just needed to see who is ready for mlb in April and May and adjust otf on the fly, baby! Lessgoooo!!!
Astros don't want to suck as bad as they have been down in Mexico. Those fans won't tolerate it. They will riot and storm the field probably.
During their time in CDMX the Astro's visited a local orphanage. "It was really eye opening. You think you have it bad and then you see something like this. They look so lost and helpless." said 11yr old Miguel Martinez.
I'm really curious what the corresponding move is going to be for Loperfido. I would imagine Singleton getting DFA over Abreu, if the FO actually still believes he can rebound. Singleton is who he is, and it wouldn't require eating massive salary. Plus with Joey batting lefty it makes Singleton expendable as well. But Abreu is dog s*** so who knows
Go team. Yeah, much overdue and now almost irrelevant wins in CDMX. Been trying to drive this point: KEEP THE MF ROOF OPEN YOU JABRONIS @ ASTROS.ORG & MMP!!! (bbbbbut it gets sun... save it, powder... build an open air field/stadium like the legacy MLB franchises have... no lie, those CA/WA-DC/NY/MD/IL stadiums are what's missing-- O P E N A I R. You ever play the game in a metal box growing up???) Also, Jim Crane-- you really do suck as a top dog. In a previous career position (>5 yrs ago), i was a vendor to one of your companies (off Hardy Rd). You dont know how to hire people or figure out how (loopholes, edges, techniques, practices) to stay ahead of your competition. Let your emotions/earworms play into your decisions too much. Everyday, I'd be actively be looking for GMs/Managers/advisors-- as the ones you've decided on tend to have a "ehhh, mediocrity aint so bad [fistbump]" approach. Light a fire and put people on notice. There's NO excuse (SP injuries included) for being 10 games under at the moment.... but keep throwing away money to lost causes. Yep, thats it.

So easy. Thats what’s so frustrating about this org the last 18 months. It’s like the Maldonado thing- these aren’t hard decisions, they are blindingly obvious. We just lack the will to do what’s self evident.
