Favorite pick so far, nice to get CJ another guy he’s already thrown the ball to, he’s also only played offense 2 years so I think there’s a good amount of untapped potential. Feel like 2 years of developing and he’ll take over for Dalton

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him contribute on special teams and wouldn’t rule out being involved in a few defensive packages.

As a Buckeye I like Stover and I believe that he'll have a solid career, but I like Brevin Jordan better.

That's true. It was frustrating to see MHJ be WIDE open only for our QB to rifle the pass 10 yards over his head.

 

Cade is faster and has much better hands.

I mostly agree with you, but I think if the chemistry with CJ happens to be there in the NFL level he could compete with Brevin. I always have a thing for pairing up college teammates. And if cj called it like he did tank… then I love it

I don't care what 40 times say, there is no way Cade is running away from Cleveland defenders like Brevin did.

 

Brevin is anywhere from 4.68-4.78 at Pro day with slightly slower 10/20 yd splits and shuttles.
Cade tested faster at the actual combine.

 

Maybe Cade has gotten faster.

 

He was a RB/LB in HS, then LB first couple of years at OSU. He's got upside as he gets more reps in the position.
