Our interests do not align with those countries, and we are engaged in ongoing proxy military conflicts with two of them. Categorizing them as "evil" is reminiscent of the Bush era's flawed and overly aggressive military policies.

We’ve been involved from the beginning. How are we not involved? If we would have stayed out of Ukraine, then we would not be involved. So, let’s just jump ship and abandon them now? And, Russia can move on to their next conquest. Not involved?
