You need to try harder to see that this screwup is all Biden’s fault.

Interesting contrast... President Biden having bilateral meetings with the PMs of Iraq and Czech Republic... and the republican candidate is in court (again), this time for criminal charges revolving around hush money paid to a p*rn star.

Periodic reminder that Trump is pro-Russia, pro-North Korea, pro-Iran - how dare Republicans like @basso and @tallanvor support him.

    Disgusting.

Yes. Putin is pro-Iran and Trump has said that Putin can do whatever the hell he wants. Trump did nothing after Iran's attack on U.S. personnel that wounded and injured American soldiers.

I would say that Putin has an alliance with the Ayatollah, and the elite oil tycoons that really run the country of Iran. The alliance is around shared interests, and shared "enemies".

Are they aligned as countries on everything... of course not. But also Germany and Japan had many differences as well in 1939. The way this typically shakes out is shared core enemies, and a transactional & strategic relationship to serve their ends.

I have no doubt that there has been a transactional relationship where Putin has been able to exchange Drones, and other military assets to assist in the war in Ukraine in exchange for nuclear development assistance.

Both Iran and Russia are stretched pretty thin though at the moment, and both have very poor economies putting the situation in a much different context than a normally powerful military alliance like the Axis powers back in WW2. I don't think Russia, and Iran are particularly the dangerous force that they could be IF they were able to bring China fully into the fold, and align strategically on a core set of goals.

So... yeah it's complicated, but you aren't wrong.

Explain in detail why he is wrong? Actually share your perspective on the Putin/Iran relationship instead of just trying to troll.

You aren't winning any arguments here with the political Beavis and Butthead approach MAGA folks.

I disagree with nearly every point he makes but at least StupidMoniker actually engages in context, and perspective.

If you are responding to a point like you guys usually do here, we'll just conclude that you are not intellectually up to the challenge of actual debate.
