It's a complete joke that Stefanski got two more total votes, 45-43, than Demeco. Those two people should have their voting privileges revoked.
How stupid!

i would say 4 of the last 9 (8 since the same guy won twice) are horrible HC, and several have been fired

Yeah, it's kinda been the kiss of death the last few years. Sean McVay has been the only one with any real sustained success in the last decade or so.

 

I dunno, I would argue it’s pretty even.. random run of some bad/unlucky ones doesn’t just mean that’s the norm.. stefanski won it, then just won it again 3 years later. John harbaugh was just in the afc champ game, everyone agrees vrabel was not their problem, Daboll and Nagy are just actual bad coaches that got real lucky. But hell Daboll won at 9-7… just a bad year for coaches.
Andy Reid won it like 20 yrs ago and look where he’s at.
Demeco deserved that win.
