    Put on the cubs game.

Typical Neris inning for cubs. Walk bases Loaded, strikeout, double play

There was one Astro today, in the starting lineup, that did absolutely zero at the plate. One guy. Who ya think it was?

“They (Astros) are not the best team. The Rangers are the best team in this division. Their lineup is the best in the AL. Wait until they get DeGrom and Scherzer back.”

    Somebody tell Timmy....

Prior to last year, Seager's best OPS was .877 in seasons he played 100+ games and his career average was ~810 playing 100+ games. Then, he suddenly goes 1.000 in 120 games. This year, he's 793. He's a very good player and he'll likely improve his current OPS this year, but last season seems a fluke, just like a few of their players.

Astros are currently #1 in OPS in the AL by almost 25 points. And they have fewest Ks despite playing the most games. And they've lacked luck regarding bloops and squibblers for hits, but their opponents have not, including the Rangers.

Talking about pitching injuries just screams stupidity, bias, or trolling.

He's going to vote against Altuve on his first year on the ballot, isn't he?

    It's not that I don't like France.

France is the type of player that teams need to win over a 162 game season.

He's like Dubon - he means an extra 2-3 wins per season and can keep a major injury from ruining a season. However, if you count on him to be a regular starter then you are basically average, not contending at that position.

If France is in AAA or the bullpen the pitching is excellent. If he's the #5 or maybe even the #4 starter that's not terrible. If he is #3 or higher your team will be lucky to compete for a playoff spot.

    Okay? Maybe.

If Scherzer and DeGrom are healthy and pitch like they did 4-5 years ago, then they may win it all. Of course they lost their best pitcher in free agency. They also lost their stud back up catcher/DH.

Then again Javier and Valdez were gassed and hurt last year. So was Garcia and McCullers.

The Rangers bullpen is still a mess, I like the potential of Abreu, Pressly, and Hader figuring it out over Leclerc, Robertson, and Yates. ****, the Rangers best starter on the season, just went on the IL. Our problem is our lineup runs hot and cold consistently.

Espn coverage of baseball is so slight and so poor, I couldn’t care less what any of them have to say about the astros.
