It's not the whole second half of a season, it was 8 or 9 games total.

Your guy is terrible and he should apologize.

Jalen Green dummies say a lot of really, really stupid sh*t.

This might just rank as one of the funniest (worst).

As if they just waited for an opportunity that a player rises for them to stan for and pour their thoughts out.......no outlets for them anywhere else.

If I were you, I wouldn't use Sengun's name in this context. Sengun has become the Turkish League MVP in his first full pro season at age 18, lol.

If I was you I'd stop parroting that around like it really means anything. Turkish league basketball is lower quality than college basketball. We're not talking Euroleague here, Sengun's team wasn't good enough for Euroleague, they played an entire tier below that in international club play (compared to Doncic who was Euroleague MVP.) People keep throwing around the Turkish league like it's high-tier ball, it's really not. It's below the NBA, Euroleague, G-League, Spanish League, and even the Spanish league aint **** in truth.

He needs to improve his shooting, otherwise his ceiling is an average starter. He doesn't have the strength or BBIQ to overcome a lack of 3-point shot as a 6'4" guard with a thin frame.

It's so funny because we have opposing team announcers being like "he might be the quickest guy in the NBA with the ball" or "he's as fast as Ja and Fox but he's 6'6" instead of 6'3"" and we have our own fans downplay his talent. It's kinda weird.

Imagine trying to defend the basketball talent of a player and the best you can come up with is "one time a guy said he runs fast".....ouch that's damning

See how easy it is to acknowledge his improvement without denying that he was bad before that? That's how it supposed to be. It's not either/or. It's both true: he was an inefficient scorer with bad overall game for 2 years, he improved his overall game and not his shooting efficiency for half a season, then he improved his shooting efficiency and had his first month of putting all the parts together, then he relapsed a bit, then he bounced back. Is this irrational to happen to a HS player who spent 2 years with Stone/Silas/KPJ?

Seems some people want to project his future as though this long stretch didn't happen. The public is aware of what's possible with him if he drops bad habits and keeps working on his game.

What does speed have to do with poor shooting and lack of BBIQ?

Green went 2nd and Sengun went 16th. So are you suggesting that half of the front offices are dim bulbs and dull tools? If what you are saying is honest, then why didn’t Sengun go in the top 5?

That is a flat out lie, Jalen and Jordan Clarkson who was listed as 6'3 standing together, they are essentially the same.......

He cannot be 6'6. He might be one inch taller but that is all there is....6'4.

Players with his combo of height, blade creativity, agility and acceleration are rare. That's the point. He doesn't have to be a great shooter to be a star. He needs to be an average one.

    That's the point.

Needs to beef up. I can’t say it enough. Not a lot. But being a twig with an inconsistent shot is conducive to stardom.

His passing has looked very much improved this season, particularly the second half of season. Hope he spends the off season practicing set jumpers and lifting.

Also these things are interlinked. The more of a threat you are to drive, the more space people will give you to shoot and vice versa.

It's not like he's Ben Simmons. He just takes to many 3's. If he took 5 a game his %'s would be fine. He makes 39% of 3's when he's 4-6 feet open and those are the biggest chunk of his attempts. The problem he has is shot selection. He takes too many unnecessarily difficult step backs and he destroys his own wide open efficiency (6+ feet) by sometimes taking 3's several feet away from the 3pt line. Those are recorded as missed wide open shots but actually they are just bad choices.

Further, he makes 50% of FT line jumpers so he's good there. Again he screws himself up with those midrange shots from the wings which he sucks at.

The coaching staff have not been helpful either. We keep hearing them talk about him needing to be more aggressive but also not to attack the bigs. Plus we had the most packed paint in the league, taking away his most powerful weapon. Would you ever give Ja Morant this advice if he showed you that unpacking the paint makes him lethal? Guy like Jalen should be told to go up stronger rather than to slow down. Very very confusing messaging from the staff and I'm not surprised when he looks confused about those things. They are treating him like he's Manu Ginobody but that's not his archetype.

I think they will figure this out but overall if he just gets to a point of average shooting and sightly wiser shot selection, he will get more consistent despite the paint being a mess.

"Turkish League basketball is lower quality than college basketball" LMAO.

"And even Spanish league aint **** in truth." LMAO.

    "It's below G-League" LMAO

Why don't you just shut the f*ck up on the matters you have no idea about and let the grown-ups talk? That'd make you look less stupid than you actually are, at least.

Anyway, if it's below G-League, maybe you should stop f*cking crying about "lack of pro basketball experience" every time your daddy Jalen sucks ass ;)
