Apparently the Texas Eclipse Fest was absolutely sublime until they shut it down early. I don’t regret my decision to go to Montana but I’m certainly sad about it. My buddy ended up pulling off the road and getting a full view of the eclipse on his way home so viewing worked out.

Less amazing was the massive hailstorm yesterday.

Bro, falling rocks are always fun.

A lot of our folks who were flying home yesterday from Montana to Texas or connecting through Texas got re-routed to Houston due to the weather. They said it was the worst turbulence they ever experienced. I guess I got lucky and was right in front of it, flight from CO to H-town was really smooth.

Biggest one I've experienced in a long time...frozen tennis balls falling from the sky in Marble Falls.

Somehow all windows everywhere survived, no dents on the trucks, only thing I know of that I lost in the garden were 2 pepper plants. I'm driving out now for a further inspection.

My cousin's RV out at the local ranch lost a window. The old ranch house there is all old-time thin-paned windows and I'm shocked they weren't all blown out on the west side, s!!t was coming down at a 45 degree angle at full speed.. Same with the garden.

I'm wondering what's going to happen tomorrow: eclipse, hailstorm, 25mph winds back-to-back-to-back

    Deez Nuts!

Apparently, they had a feed where viewers could livestream their own views of the eclipse lol.
