They're scared to bring Loperfido up, afraid they might ruin him. It's upper management decision to stick with Abreu. I don't think Espada has any say so about that. I think Bags still has input. A LOT.

All this is my opinion of course.

 

Abreu is the one getting ruined. He looks totally out of sync hitting and fielding.
