I didn’t even watch the game and I feel like sh_t! I hope it goes better today for crying out loud! What do we need a bigger ball?
This may end up be a bad take because it’s still early, but I was wrong about Hunter Brown as a starter. Maybe he’s the middle relief we’re looking for or the trade piece for a top starter that some team that loves his potential. We really needed him to be nails this season. But he’s trending to not be what the team desperately needed
Damn.. I’m in Dallas now and was thinking of going to the game but the people I’m with didn’t want to go. Apparently my money was better spent on drinks..
I didn't watch it because of Apple @%$@# TV BS and I don't like these notorious free-trialers (Amazon Prime). I want to get rid of my IOS for destroying my Friday nights.
I'm surprised the it's a long season and the it's early crowd hasn't referenced the '05 team that was 15 games under 0.500 during the year. Gotta believe guys! Lolololololololololololololololol.
I had high hopes of a rebound year in the rotation for Brown. I just don't think he's that dude. 5 era last year and he's been trash this year. Last time he was good was '22.
We will probably be floating a little under 500 the whole year and if that’s the case then we should trade bregman for anything if his play starts to pick up cause we won’t be signing him long term
Astros still have ~75% chance of making the playoffs. When that gets below 60% we can start thinking about being deadline sellers. If they do sell I would think it would be more than just Bregman. Bregman, Tucker, Framber, Verlander, McCormick, Dubon, Caratini, Bryan Abreu, Urquidy, and Pressly would all probably be shopped, with Montero and Jose Abreu dumped. Houston won’t half ass a deadline as a seller.
So presuming that JV comes back within the next 2 weeks and Blanco/France don’t completely embarrass themselves this weekend… is Hunter the possible relegate to the bullpen guy?
