ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 4/4/2024

Finding a new home for Brooks would be preferred. We got the best couple months we could ever expect to get from him to start the year. All downhill from there.

 

welp... that pretty much was the final nail in the coffin...

oh well... hopefully play for the moral victory of a .500 season...

we got some good pieces - but some work to do this off season!

 

His defense isn't even good enough anymore. Let's guys get by him and fouls recklessly.

 

Didn't you see the warriors where crowding the paint to cut-off easy drives? He made the correct plays. Some folks just don't know basketball it is what it is.... smh

 

Why do Jalen always have a BAD SHOOTING PERFORMANCE when we play a good team and play like Kobe against the bad teams….cam played better tonight….just saying

 

We got outrebounded badly against a pretty small team. We also just allowed them to make us play slow. Couldn't guard Klay. Jalen despite having ok stats was too clumsy today. Udoka didn't have a great game either.

Really disappointing. We have to talk about how this team has only done well when the pressure is off. That's a really bad quality.

 

My dude, he went 4/12 and led the team in turnovers. That's not exactly Western Conference player of the anything. He was off tonight.

 

He had his run promoting his kid with Draya, now show some great performances against the Jazz....

 

Jalen missed a lot of open shots on the 3 point line

 

It’s just being immature honestly and I don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s be a little different if he was actually playing and could impact the game. You don’t tug on Superman’s cape especially in street clothes.

 

Sad game. Reaching at least .500 at the end of the season would be a foundation to build on for next year. Just last 2 out 3 games have been disappointing.

 

New goal: play-in, stay at or above .500 record.

 

I hope tomorrow’s game is better, because all we’re doing is playing for pride at this point. At least Jalen has clearly improved in terms of decision making and finding open looks for his teammates, and his shooting stroke seems much more compact compared to even the start of this season.

With Alpi back, we’re going to be solid next year—and I think all of our young guys will make a jump over the summer.

This loss doesn’t put a damper on a surprising and entertaining year, but it definitely puts a very bitter taste in my mouth for the short term.

Show me something tomorrow, guys. At least let us have some more fun before we say goodbye for six more months.

 

He is just bored to be honest and well who knows, if the Rockets got hot against the Worriers, who knows what it would look like.

Now of course it looks bad, Draymond commented on his podcast and his team delivered.

Idk where Tari was when Harden had that GSW rivalry and Harden does not even care no more.

Chris Paul friggin plays for the Warriors now.

He led the team in assists before the fourth quarter also and had the lowest +/- of the starters outside of Amen and made the least mistakes outside of Fred in the switch schemes on defense.

He was doubled also the entire game so ya 4/12 is not the same as for example Cam going 6/14.
