Question...did they change the blackout rules or something? I can't figure how I'm in North Texas and all the MLB Astros games are blacked out now. Never happened in prior seasons. WTF is going on? I'm in the Rangers market. So, why are Astros games being blacked out for me? F-ing weird.

Need to really push more runs across here. Bassit has been horrendous this game.

 

Varsho is a damn good defensive outfielder. Really hoped we could've gotten him when he was traded to the Jays. Unfortunately, his bat hasn't been as good as when he was still with Arizona and catching.

 

As frustrating a start of the season as this can be… we really need to be mindful that theres also a lot of really positive signs that they’ll be just fine.

Pitching -
JV bullpen sessions going great and rehab starts means he’ll be likely pitching by the end of this month.
Framber “figuring out” command in just one start… or having Caratini catch him mentally resets things.
Javier continues to put up zeros

Hitting -
I don’t care what order they eventually settle on, but Altuve/Yordan/Tucker/Bregman/Diaz all following each other, all playing basically every game, and having a consistent lineup is a “good” thing… or at least anti whatever last year’s daily variable lineup either did or didn’t do for getting guys into a groove.

And all they need from the rest of the lineup (Abreu, Chas, Pena, CF) is not to have a Maldy-level black hole.

Bullpen -
It’s been a tough stretch… close game after close game will tax any bullpen. Just need them to stay healthy.
