Texans acquire Stefon Diggs

i hate this move by the texans. diggs is a locker room cancer. cj stroud doesn’t need this

desean jackson went to tampa way back when a young jameis openly vouched for him and desean proceeded to divide the bucs locker room. the texans should have got a new wr through the draft


why bring this diva to houston.. ugh

now if the texans don’t win cj stroud is gonna get destroyed because this diva wr is gonna be asking for the ball and pouting when he ain’t getting the ball enough

if this dude is so good why would the bills trade him away within the conference

 

Kinda BS hot take here. They were a great team that ran into Mahomes and lost games that went down to the wire. Sports is full of great teams with no rings because they were #2 to a dynasty. Doesn't mean they're trash.

I do not wanna rely on these and want to upgrade the OG spot of Green o so badly. It gets a better hole for Mixon and more time for CJ. Get better at OG. They are hurt all the time and only hope that Green will improve and be physically healthy. Cut bait and move on.

Diggs has no guaranteed money beyond this season and a locker room with 3 #1 quality WR's and a franchise QB... on a team stacked with strong leaders on both sides of the ball AND coaching staff.

Also, he doesn't have to live in Buffalo anymore.

There's no reason to think he'd be anything but happy here after all he's had to put up with on a Bills team where he was always the ONLY real receiving threat.

 

I’m conflicted. I don’t like Diggs the locker room guy, or who he is currently as a player. But damn, that’s value and makes us very deep at WR.
Going all in, hopes are high.

What once was a concern last preseason, is now a problem for the rest of the DBs.

2008 Arizona Cardinals with Fitzgerald, Boldin and Breaston all had 1,000+ as WRs.

Nico, Dell and Diggs can easily do that while still having balance in the run game, a 55/45 balance. =)

 

Not to mention Collins but... what's the fancy duo name for Diggs and Dell?

 

I don't know a lot about Josh Allen and his leadership skills, but from what I've seen of CJ Stroud so far in one season, I gotta imagine he will manage his relationship with Diggs better off the field so that those kind of blow ups don't happen on the field. There will likely still be some diva nature by Diggs, but I trust Demeco and especially CJ to handle it.

And like you say, if it really becomes a problem, they can jettison him without too much damage. It's a calculated risk with a potentially huge reward.
