Thunders were taking the game seriously playoff seeding implications were still in play with or without sga. Trying to downplay Jalen excellent stretch of performance, typical Jalen hater. The narrative that teams especially good team take it easy is stupid as fk. The west is a bloodbath no team is taking it easy bc the playoff seeding implication is still in play.

I do agree that this mavs loss is a slap to reality, that our team isnt Any better without sengun, and that our vets are unreliable. Green was getting double team and fvv/brooks were garbage.

No shame in losing this one, though I thought it would be closer. And this wasn't the game that I had expected the small ball with Thompson would falter. (Though a lot of that was due to foul trouble.)

On the plus side, the Rockets get to play the Mavs one more time, I think, so they'll get a chance to test out some adjustments.

Mavs have elite skill with Luka and Kyrie.

The Wolves are the type of team that aggressive defenses the Rockets play work on well because they rely on Ant's elite athleticism for their offensive hub basically.

Luka barely worked for his points. A few jab steps off the triple threat off Landale and drills threes. That was basically his scoring diet. Low energy shots. Ant has to work for his buckets similar to Green having to use elite athleticism to create separation.

Timberwolves blew us out by 27pts and 21pts in the last two matchups so far this season. They're a really bad matchup for us. Ime needs to switch it up and think outside the box for this one.
