    After hearing the rave reviews I decided to check it our hometown star's Cowboy Carter album. Every track has been excellent so far.

    Original music, genre-bending tracks, country covers, even opera, she's killed it so far from a creative music standpoint of the tracks I've listened to.

    She's introduced by Dolly Parton on Jolene, and the Beatles' Blackbiird cover sounds like a nighttime lullaby to her child.
