Are the Rockets a better team without Sengun?

Funny how posts like this never have actual statistical backing.

 

No trades are happening unless major problems happen before next year's trade deadline.

We just don't know if these two can gel together right now because Jalen playing so poorly throughout the season until recently.

Sengun should be 100% trying to get that 3pt shot online this off-season tho.

 

This elite shot blocker is currently averaging 0.6 blocks/game. C’mon man

 

He also sucks on defense and doesn’t rebound at all

 

i agree. If rocketchamp doesn’t like Sengun on defense he’s gonna hate Zion.

 

This totally depends what the "real" Jalen is. We've seen this current Jalen for like 10 games now. If this is actually how Jalen is going to play consistently then yeah, obviously you get rid of Sengun. But it's 10 games out of over 200.

 

The best combo in the NBA? Seriously? They wouldn't even be close.

 

Jokic and murray or zion and jalen? Tough call

 

I hate to say it, but if this current team had been playing together all season, the Rockets would probably already be seeded in the playoffs.

 

First season being properly coached.

Just wait till next season.

 

Games like these against the Jazz is where Sengun is so important. They overload on Green so someone else needs to step up and play-make.

We need Sengun. I can't recall, but were we debating if the team was better w/o Yao during our 22 game win streak in 2007-08?
