This has been Zion’s healthiest season and he didn’t even come close to making the All Star game. He’s always been really overrated IMO. Besides, if the whole point of trading Sengun — hypothetically — is to create space for Green, how does Zion help with that? The dude doesn’t shoot 3s.
We’re really considering Zion? Bad rebounder for what he should be, mediocre defender, can’t get into shape, stamina issues, injury prone.
Sengun is nothing like Yao, but I get what you're saying. Plus, Yao wasn't our best player at the time.
I don't trust Zion to stay on the court, keep his conditioning together, and generally be a winning type of player who really cares. Also, all jokes aside--yes, he is one of the least-willing shooters in basketball outside the center position. This season only 4% of his shots are outside 10 feet. (That number is 27% for Alpi.) He's really a guy you have to build your entire roster around, and I would never want to build around a guy that unreliable.
If the Rockets were only able to keep one, which would you choose to be traded? The real Jalen or Sengun? Me, I'm taking Jalen all day. I believe Ime would also.
Jalen has been playing well for a month Alpi played well all season before he got hurt I don't want to trade either one unless the return is phenomenal (so not f***ing Zion Williamson), but if I had to pick one to go, it'd still be Jalen
Thats why u ve been cursed with tmac steve francis jalen green wannabees and downplaying all your life. u want aau. not championship. loser.
Zion is in a whole other stratosphere than Sengun. Him & Jalen would be the best combo in the nba instantly
