was seinfeld even funny? i never watched his sitcom, it was way before my time. was he the one famous for complaining about airplane food?
IMO he is, it's a very clean humor although I have seen drop a few cuss words in his stand up. In the Seinfeld series the humor was based around everyday issues that they would all encounter...........I thought it was a great series
Yep Its clean humor that doesn't hold back on all topics (and doesn't look as clean when actually typed out): Masturbation contests Impotence cured by fruit Sex to save the friendship Guessing female names that rhyme with a genital part of their anatomy Trying to have a three-way in order to entice a girlfriend's roomate Perfecting sex moves and keeping them a secret Thats just off the top of my head...
Seinfeld the sitcom was hilarious. One of the best ever. But I'm guessing more than 50% of the credit for that goes to Larry David.
that was a joke? I thought it was commentary on the industrial food complex being satirized in the movie and it's real world implications on the current obesity epidemic.
I've watched the show a couple of times and it's not really for me. I do believe there's some good comedians on there, but don't remember Jerry himself being funny. For me personally actually quite the opposite. His views, including on cussing, to me comes across as a bit arrogant and something about him gives me vibes that he feels himself a little too much. I also have a personal issue with his stance on Israel so my opinion is definitely biased. Watch this though for context, just great discussions:
