As magas are already blaming Biden and Buttigiege, and this maga wacko jumped at the terrorist attack...
This was preventable. If Trump and the Republicans had actually passed infrastructure like they promised, that bridge would have been Trump-strong already.
Actually a good point. A lot of federal departments and institutions are calling workers back to the office (for no logical reason and this really is a Dark Brandon initiative) and there are several in the area including the SSA and this is going to impact commute times.
I expected this . . . . . . Honestly . . . ..It would be easy to jump to domestic terrorism because that is our political atmosphere now How many outages / Hacks have we had in the last couple of months ATT . . . Facebook . . .. Trying to ban TikTok P Ditty home getting raided Trump getting a 66% reduction in his bond which no one not rich and white and male could ever get. .. . This world .. . . . Rocket River This train is never late
I don’t think you can. These ships are massive and have too much inertia. It’s why the bridge crumpled like tissue paper.
If whenever a horrible disaster happens you rush to twitter to post/repost potato quality photos of tangentially related political figures enjoying time with their spouse to totally own the libs you probably need therapy.
I feel like there are ways... Can a massive ship that has lost steering power be steered through some type of barrier or other bridge protective systems? Why not require a massive ship with the power to destroy a massive bridge to have a backup emergency steering system? Would requiring a slower speed for massive ships around bridges be effective at preventing a collapse? Can a bridge be designed with redundant piers, so that a single impacted pier doesn't collapse it? (why even have piers ) ...
