    The funny thing is if you kick the Warriors from the Play In the Rockets are in the Play In because those are the 2 teams playing for the last seed.

    The Utah Jazz were in the running one month ago but have since lost every game.

    Okay, I see what you mean. Of course that makes sense. Adding two more teams to the West via expansion means just needing to move one team to make an even 16 in either conference.

    this scenario is based on adding two new teams to the West and moving an existing team to the East.

    Ok, I'm fine with just making the play-in as the 10th seed(and obviously qualifying for the playoffs after).

    But look at the Suns' remaining schedule. Depending on whether LAC, SAC, and MIN have anything to play for at the end, it's not unthinkable they finish with a 43-39 record.

    The Rockets could overtake more than just one team if they can close the season no worse than 7-4 in their final 11.

    Slide New Orleans east. They are the farthest East geographically and slide Phoenix to the Southwest division where they belong.

    Pacific Division should be: Seattle (if added), Portland, Sacramento, Golden State, LAL, LAC.

    I felt the team who came out the the hottest first 10 games post all star break would be in drivers seat

    Looks like HTown got the memo and came out throwing prime G Foreman KO punches, I don't care about the competition tier, its an NBA schedule, too bad they played their harder part of schedule in early season
