If he can predict the next 3 year's NBA champions then he is for real.

 

I do and don’t like it. It’s definitely made it a little more competitive. Teams outside the playoffs have an incentive to not rest players and give up just because they’re not close enough to the 8th seed. And more importantly it gives teams like ours a closer look at a playoff trial run. Like I feel more than likely (unless you have SGA and a bunch of other young talent) you need to have one playoff series under your belt before you can be expected to win anything, even just the first round.

so I feel like the attempt to make play in counts towards that necessary experience. Maybe not all the way but it clearly is making all these games meaningful the last 3 weeks of the season when we were like 8 games below .500.

 

Y'all need to lay the **** off Jorge tbh. That man just wished Jalen Green back into a future star, we need to get his ass a beer or 50 as thanks.

 

I don’t …because I like putting a premium on playoff spots. The NBA was already allowing more teams into the postseason than it was excluding…now it’s even more. You either stop that or you stop playing 82 games…you don’t need 82 games to figure out the 20 teams out of 30 that get to keep playing after the regular season. It cheapens the hell out of the value of a regular season game experience.

 

I don’t disagree. But after last season, I enjoyed the playin games. I enjoyed the last week of the season where teams still were fighting. But generally, I agree, it’s ridiculous that half the league makes the playoffs.

 

Kind of shoving the business side of the entertainment biz in our faces -- straining my suspension of disbelief as to the seriousness of the product. The WWE carnival side of it all.

Don't get me wrong though, WWE IS REAL for sure.

 

Or….go back to 5 games series in the early rounds of the playoffs. Even if you do that, you still don’t need 82 freaking games lol

 

I like the play-in because of the chance you'll see a team that was supposed to make the playoffs stumble their way into a play-in spot instead, then lose a game and look like fools. This year, that can't possibly be us; if we make the play-in, we'll be the team that wasn't supposed to get there yet anyway.

 

If we make the play-in, Jorge is the easy pick for 2024 CFMVP.

 

I don’t see GS falling out of the play-in. They are playing too well right now, and of course Klay Thompson has found his shot again. Great move by Kerr having him play against 2nd stringers. Sigh….

 

I agree, Udoka, Green, Amen made it interesting. Keep on pressuring them or the Fakers.

 

Yea, I’m looking at the Lakers more than anything.

Only caught the last couple minutes of this GSW team but wow, Klay, Curry and CP3 looked old and average. Bricks in the clutch. They’re now 18-19 at home. But unfortunately? their next 7/8 are on the road.
