Its time for Jack S to go to the 11th District and ask for a new judge...................I can't believe she is this dumb, although she has screwed up on other cases as Ty Cobb points out. One of the issues picking a judge (or any job) that meets your low moral compass, you may have to get a person who really isn't good at their job..................trump appointed her so she obviously leans right ..................kind of like the Surgeon General in Fl who doesn't follow science and now they have a measles outbreak which was practically eliminated in 2000, you end up getting sub-par folks who do a sub-par job............"only the best", which trump bragged about would be these types of folks if trump takes the WH
It's less about being dumb and more about being brazen because of the lack of accountability that the judiciary has because of Congress not moving on oversight. Judge Loose Cannon sees what has happened at the Supreme Court with Clarence Thomas, Alito, etc. and has learned that she can do whatever the hell she wants, and as long as she toys with things just enough, she can get away with being completely partisan as a judge. My guess is there's alot we also don't know about behind the scenes with her, but I'm sure investigative journalists out there have their radars up, and are digging deep to source what else she's up to because I'm sure there are juicy stories, and massive corrupting happening behind the scenes. The fact of the matter is Congress has to act the next time there is a Democratic House and Senate which might never happen again if Trump wins in November. If we are fortunate enough as a Democracy to have control again of Congress, than they need to act, and increase the size of the bench on the Supreme Court, and mandate new accountability measures. Our Democracy cannot stand if this level hyper partisanship and corruption are allowed to stay on the courts. It threatens everything even at the lower levels.
I want to believe this trump appointed judge is on the up and up but dam, she is either really dumb or she is biased. She has stalled up to this point and now the jury instructions make no dam sense............we need more transparency on what's going on. This trial will never make it before Nov and this "appears" to be a slam dunk...........................notice how this is the ONLY judge trump has not gone after?

Not sure who is better at delaying, trump or his appointed judge................I am still on the fence if she is this delusional or complicit. She has a history of making some really stupid rulings but trump only hires the best so you have that track record...........I am gonna go with incompetant
She's complicit. The evidence is that she's clever enough to still protect herself from an appeal to the 11th circuit. An appeal that in this case would take her off the case almost surely. The fact that she cares this much to still be on the case is telling. Jack Smith needs to file with the court a motion to have her rule that the Presidential Records Act does that apply even during the trial. The way she ruled on the Jury Instructions still gives her the ability to throw out the case during the trial, AND Jack Smith would not be able to appeal the decision. I think that's what she's trying to do here. Smith needs to make that filing now, and if she sits on it, go to the 11th circuit at that point. Either they rule that she needs to rule, throw her off the case, or rule that she doesn't have to rule which would be pretty crazy. So Smith needs to take that chance and try and force Cannon to rule that the Presidential Records Act does not apply.
I'd take any judge that wasn't a member of the Federalist Society with at least some judicial experience and not appointed by the guy who's on trial.

Judge Merchan in the Stormy Daniels extortion trial persecution of Trump has a daughter that is a political fundraising operative who has raised $90 million since her daddy took on the case. Judge Engoron in NY ordered that Trump pay $500 million for a victimless fake crime using a novel legal theory and overlooking a bank (the counterparty in the fake fraud) testifying that they didn't even rely on the property valuations in question. And people think that Cannon is a problem. Actually, she's the only judge not going along with this political persecution of Trump. An independent judiciary used to be something we valued. Not liberals -- they want the judicial branch to be the punishment arm of the DNC. Shameful.
