IMO, they would be better off just moving kickoffs from the 35 yard-line back to the 30 or 25 yard-lines.
well they are trying to prevent the injuries which moving back to the 30 yrd line doesnt do. The goal is to stop both teams from getting to full speed and then colliding.
I wish coaches were allowed to challenge any penalty call, regardless of what it is, and regardless of what time of the game it is. There is no reason they shouldn't be able to hold refs accountable on each and every play of a game, period.
I still crack up that year they allowed coaches to challenge the PI calls. When they did they STILL never got them right. They need to do away with challenges and just have a review both team make the calls in real time.
I didn't say raise the number of challenges. I said let them challenge any call, any time, meaning until the time runs out, with their allotted challenges. I also think their challenge should be given back any time the refs call it wrong. Honestly, I think they should get 2 challenges a half, because of so many BS ref calls or missed calls, especially with blatant holding or pass interference no calls.
NFL got woken up with what went down last few months with the McNair court case; don't think that didn't caused some concern. Time to assure stability.
As I'm a bit new to closely following the NFL, can someone explain again why we traded Maliek Collins for a 7th round pick? Was his salary exorbitant? I don't get it. Thanks in advance.
We think initially the plan was to trade him for Arik Armstead straight up. But that fell through so we just traded for a pick. Save 3 mil this year which isn’t worth it, but I think we save 13+ mil next year which is big.. but was hoping we used the money towards a replacement and we haven’t.
