I thanked him when he turned down the Rox's offer, but that was before finding out he is signing with the Lakers for 6 million.

Thanks for....erhmm....err..thanks for playing lockdown defense on Roy.

I appreciate what Ron did but wish he would took the 1 yr deal to cash out later. Don't mind that he's gone but understand that like all players you want to win the title.

However, didn't he say something during the playoffs where he didn't respect Kobe and looks up to the young talent coming up like the Roys, OJ Mayos, etc, yet he's now going to be riding Kobe to win it?

Without Ron we don't get out of the first round this year.

He gave our team a toughness that I hope has carried over to other players.

It will be hard to root against him, though I'll definitely be rooting against the Lakers.

With Ron, you think we would of made a run past the 1st round? Seriously? Why do you think we offered him a 1 year deal? Why do you think he went to LA? This team is not a contending team and probably wont be as long as Yao and Mac are out.

Meh. As a character and entertainer, I enjoyed him. From a basketball perspective, he was way overrated by many fans. I predit Kobe will want him dead by mid-season.

I'm really disapointed with Artest. I know NBA is a business and all that but why the Lakers man. I never tought Ron would do that to his team and he's from the hood how he can join our worst ennemies after Dallas and Utah. It's like a Crips leaving his gang to join an Esse gang. Really after the announcement of Artest to Lakers, I figured out Ron was fake. **** him and I wish the worst luck to him with the Lakers (not in his life).

I really don't see what Ron gave us. He had some decent games, but he also played really poorly - especially against the Lakers.

I guess the Lakers see the value as well. But I am not unhappy to see him go.

I don't think he and Kobe will get along all that well.
